Itasha Project Roadmap

[First Stage]

Project Kickoff

You work with us to determine your itasha's characters, color choices, background preferences and more. 

A deposit of 50% of the total project fee is required to begin your project.

[Second Stage]

Art & Design

You have the option of commissioning art from Niji Designs, using pre-existing art (Original Artist permission required) to be converted to vector, or using pre-commissioned art from other artists.

Conversion of existing art (if required) can be time consuming. We will provide you weekly updates on the conversion effort.

After art is confirmed and verified, Niji Designs will provide you periodic updates on your design via e-mail. You have unlimited revisions leading up to the completion of the project!

[Third Stage]

Review & Project Closure

After your design is completed, we will provide you with a watermarked draft for you to review and approve. This is the last chance you have for any design revisions.

Once approved by you, we will require the remainder of your Project fee and provide you with a receipt and a cloud link to download your unwatermarked design. 

The cloud link will be available for 90 days and we ask that you download and keep a copy of your project files as quickly as possible. While Niji Designs retains the project files and can provide them on-demand, these files are large and take up valuable storage space.

[Fourth Stage //Optional]

Vinyl Referral

If you are located in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Texas, or California - Niji Designs can recommend and refer you to several reputable wrap shops to take your design to for print and install.  

We are currently working on partnering with vendors to provide remote print + ship services but Niji Designs currently doesn't provide this service. We apologize!
