These terms cover some of the finer details of Projects with Niji Designs. Don’t worry, they’re not your normal Terms & Conditions with 5,280 pages.

Terms Definitions
Starting a Project is defined as requesting a new project with Niji Designs and paying the deposit. Once the deposit is paid, the project is considered “started.”
Signing Off / Finalized Project is defined as a project that has reached the final stage and its final invoice completed.
Revision is defined as a change requested by you at any point in the project. This can be something as simple as placement to more advanced things like graphics changes or pose changes.
Base Fee is the baseline cost of your project design with us. This fee is determined by the scope of work and the parts of your vehicle you wish to be designed. For example, a base fee would be determined if you are only wanting your fenders or hood to be designed. (See New Project Terms.)
Art Fee is a cost for custom art that is created by Niji Designs directly and is determined by the complexity, amount of time required for completion, and detail. (See New Project Terms.)
New Project Terms
New Projects with Niji Designs are accepted on an as-available basis. Occasionally, our project queue will exceed our design capacity and we will have to close it. In the event you have a Project Request in the queue and commissions close, we will notify you via e-mail.
Niji Designs reserves the right to deny new incoming projects depending on the content of the request. In most cases, if we deny a request, we will try to refer you to a designer who can take it.
Niji Designs will not accept customer requests or commissions requesting sexualization or overly lewd minors or minor-presenting (loli) characters.
The Initial Project deposit is not refundable under any circumstances. The Deposit is applied to the final cost of your design project.
Prices provided during the initial phases of the project include a Base Fee depending on the requests, vehicle type, and background work required and may include an Art Fee which is determined after the initial deposit is paid. Art fees are dependent on the project request, amount of time required to complete, and complexity and will be quoted and provided to you after initial sketches are given. If you are providing your own pre-commissioned artwork or providing art with permission from the original artist, your project will not have an Art Fee.
At any point during the Project process, you can opt to cancel the project. Your deposit cannot be refunded to you.
Revision Terms
As outlined on the Itasha Project Roadmap, on Stage 3, we will provide you a watermarked version of your project design to approve. You have unlimited revisions during this stage. Once approved by you, we will generate an invoice for the remainder of the project cost. After the invoice is paid by you, we consider the project completed and signed off by you.
We ask this when providing you the finalized, unwatermarked, full-size files, but the only instance that Niji Designs will make any additional revisions to your project is when reviewing the proof sent to you by the vinyl shop you use. If you do not provide Niji Designs with the proof from your vinyl shop, we can’t review or make revisions to the design and are not liable for additional revisions or errors post-installation.
Niji Designs is not liable or responsible for installation errors, including placement mistakes, encountered by your selected vinyl wrap shop. Designs created by Niji Designs contain “overprint” to go beyond the lines of your vehicle intentionally to assist installers.
If additional revisions are requested by you after the project is finalized, we will ask that you request a new project. If commissions are closed in this instance, the request and project timing is at the full discretion of the design team.
Additional Terms
By Starting a Project with us, we request on the initial contact form for your consent to share in-progress screenshots of your design on our social media. This consent, once granted, can only be revoked by request of you, however any existing posts will not be taken down unless agreed upon.
